How to Reset the Service Light on Ford Transit Custom

To reset the service light on the Ford Transit Custom, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Fully press the accelerator pedal and, at the same time, press the brake pedal. Keep both pedals pressed for about 15 seconds while the ignition remains on. A message will appear on the instrument display indicating that the engine oil reset is in progress. Continue to hold the pedals until the reset confirmation is displayed. At this point, release the pedals and switch off the ignition. Then turn the ignition back on to check that the maintenance light is no longer present on the display.
