Here’s how to reset the service light on a Ford Mondeo MK5: turn on the ignition without starting the engine; the main display will light up. Ensure you are on the main screen of the Sync system, then on "home". Use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate, not the touch screen. Press the "left arrow" button to go to the main menu; scroll down to select "settings"; press "ok", scroll to "vehicle settings", then press "ok", scroll to "oil life reset" and then press "ok". Hold the "ok" button for a few seconds: you will see the oil life percentage return to 100% and the service light will turn off.
