How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Transit

To reset the service light on a Ford Transit, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the dashboard without starting the engine. Press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously, keeping them fully pressed for about 20 seconds. During this procedure, a message regarding the maintenance reset will appear on the dashboard display. Continue holding the pedals until the confirmation of the service reset appears. At this point, release the pedals, turn off the dashboard, and turn it back on to verify that the maintenance light has been cleared.
