How to reset the service light on a Ford Transit

To reset the service light on a Ford Transit, turn on the ignition without starting the engine and wait for the central display to be fully operational. Use the controls on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu and navigate to the vehicle settings section. Enter the maintenance or oil life section and select the service interval indicator. Press and hold the confirmation button for a few seconds until the message indicating the reset appears. Once completed, exit the menu and turn off the ignition. Then restart the vehicle and check that the maintenance light has been reset and that the new service interval has been recorded correctly.
