How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Transit

To reset the service light on a Ford Transit, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine and wait for the central display to complete the startup. Use the controls on the steering wheel to access the vehicle settings menu. Scroll through the various options until you reach the section dedicated to maintenance information or the remaining engine oil life. Select the option related to oil life and hold down the confirmation button for a few seconds. A message will appear on the display confirming the reset of the maintenance interval. Once completed, exit the menu and turn off the instrument panel. Then restart the vehicle and check that the service warning has been cleared and that the new maintenance interval has been stored correctly.
