How to Reset the Oil Light on a Ford S-Max?

Model: Ford S Max MK 1 - Years 2006-2016

Let’s see how to reset the service light on a Ford S-Max: turn on the instrument panel, then press the "ok" button located on the steering wheel and use the navigation arrows (also on the steering wheel) to select the "settings" option; from there, select "vehicle" and scroll down to find "oil life". Once you find this option, press and hold the "ok" button on it for a few seconds, as shown in the video. A confirmation message will appear: "reset successfully completed". If the oil pressure light is red, it should not be reset! It indicates a very serious problem, such as extremely low oil level or a faulty oil pump. You must stop the engine immediately and check.
