Repairing the Rear Door Handle

Model: Ford Ranger MK 2 - Years 1993-1997

Remove the screws securing the rear door trim panel and take off the metal plate to access the handle. Lubricate the handle's mounting pins before unscrewing them and proceed with the disassembly (it is advisable to lubricate the rods and locks as well). Then remove the old handle and fit the new one by tightening the respective mounting pins. Check the operation and refit the interior trim panel: it is recommended to replace the screws, which are likely to be rusted (consider using stainless steel screws).
