How to Remove the Handbrake Cable on a Ford Mondeo

Remove the handbrake cable on a Ford Mondeo if faulty. Here’s how to do it. Position your car on a column lift, loosen the bolts with a telescopic spanner, and raise it to a comfortable height for access. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, then start unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket, reaching inside the brake disc to disconnect the handbrake cable. Now disconnect the handbrake cable and unscrew the bolts located under the car's body. Fit the new handbrake cable as shown in the video. Refit the wheel and tighten the securing bolts.
