Remove Alternator from Ford Mondeo

Remove the alternator from a Ford Mondeo? Follow these steps for disassembly. Lift the bonnet and secure it, locate the battery, and disconnect the terminals. Remove the splash shield from the front wheel (remove the wheel). Disconnect the alternator belt, undo the bolts with a socket spanner, and disconnect the electrical terminals. Once disassembly is complete, extract the alternator from the engine bay. Fit the new alternator, tighten the securing bolts, then reconnect the electrical terminals and secure the belt. Reconnect the battery terminals.
