How to Replace the Rear Brake Disc on a Ford Mondeo

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Before you begin, lift the car and remove the rear wheel. Once the wheel is off, start by loosening and removing the bolts that secure the brake pads, then remove the brake caliper. At this point, unscrew and remove the bolt on the hub of the disc using a Torx T47. After that, using a hammer, extract and remove the old disc. This completes the removal of the brake disc. To fit the new disc, simply follow the steps in reverse, and you will be finished. It is advisable to replace the discs in pairs; when replacing the right disc, also replace the left one and vice versa, to avoid compromising braking performance.
