How to Replace the Lock Cylinder on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

This video demonstrates how to replace the door lock on a Ford Focus MK2 without too much hassle. First, prepare all the materials you will need for the job (screwdriver, Torx key). Open the door, remove the panel using the screwdriver, and disconnect the electric window cable and the handle cable. On the side of the door, at handle height, you will notice a plastic cover; remove it using a flathead screwdriver. Insert the Torx screwdriver to unscrew the lock and remove it from its housing. Now, simply install the new one and reassemble all components.
