In this tutorial, you will see how to check the engine oil level in a Ford F-350 pickup. This is a simple task to perform regularly to ensure the engine is always in ideal operating condition. With the engine off and cold, open the hood and locate the yellow ring on the engine oil dipstick. Do not confuse it with the large ring, as that is for the transmission fluid. Remove the dipstick, wipe it with a cloth, reinsert it, and pull it out again. Ensure the oil level is between the two reference holes; if not, open the cap and add the necessary oil, 5W20.
