The BMS is a special sensor integrated into the vehicle that can automatically detect the battery charge level. When replacing the car battery, it is essential to reset the BMS sensor to avoid errors and malfunctions, which can be serious. To do this, first insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, press the left lever on the steering wheel five times in a row and the brake pedal three times. At this point, wait for the system to reset, and as soon as the battery light stops flashing, you can start the engine or turn off the ignition.
