Engine Oil Change on Ford Escape 2.5L

In today's tutorial video, discover how to change the engine oil on a Ford Escape with a 2.5-liter engine produced from 2008 to 2012. Start by raising the vehicle and placing a drain pan under the oil pan. Then, remove the oil pan bolt and let all the used oil drain out. Allow it to drain completely and replace the bolt. Next, move the drain pan under the oil filter, located next to the oil pan, and simply remove it by unscrewing. Clean the mounting area and install a new filter, lubricating the gasket ring first. Finally, move to the engine compartment to add the new oil.
