On Ford vehicles, there is a manual procedure to reset the battery warning light that illuminates on the dashboard. First, switch on the ignition. Then, flash the main beam five times. After this, press the brake pedal fully three times. Once these steps are completed, wait a few seconds and observe the warning light, which should turn off. At this point, you can switch off the ignition.
