To reset the oil message on the Ford Transit, first turn the key to the on position without starting the engine. Once done, the error message will appear. To reset it, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. The brake should be pressed fully. Now, hold the brake and accelerator for 15 seconds until the vehicle's display shows the data without the error message. At this point, simply release the brake and accelerator, turn off the ignition, and start the vehicle to ensure everything has been reset correctly.
