The perfect efficiency of the air mass sensor is absolutely essential for the engine to deliver its power correctly: it is in fact according to the quantity of air sucked in by the engine that the control unit manages the quantity of fuel; if the engine loses power, the first attempt is to clean the mass air sensor. This sensor is located immediately at the outlet of the air filter box: then disconnect the plug, unscrew the two fastening clamps and remove the sensor; remove the seeger ring and the metal mesh filter and intercept the sensor resistance which must be cleaned of encrustations using brake cleaner (avoid scratching).

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
