How to Replace the Thermostat in a Ford Escape?

To replace the thermostat in a Ford Escape, open the hood to access the components inside the engine compartment: you will need to unscrew the bolts securing the battery and disconnect its power cables, so that it can be completely removed. This will allow access to the underlying hose, which must be removed by unscrewing its mounting bolts: at the end of the hose, you will find the thermostat, which must be pulled out from its seat and replaced with a new part. After replacement, reassemble all the parts that were previously removed.
