In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the steering wheel on a Ford F-250 pickup, a very simple operation. Before doing this, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental airbag deployment.

Start by locating the hole on the left side of the steering column, then insert a long screwdriver into it, unlock the clip, and detach the airbag. Next, disconnect the various rear connectors, remove the large central bolt with a 24mm socket wrench, and pull the steering wheel off the column.

Finally, follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
