Operation: How do you reset the Service light on the Ford C-Max?

The procedure to reset the Service light on the Ford C-Max is done by simultaneously holding down the brake and accelerator pedals, while both the engine and instrument panel are turned off. By continuing to hold down the pedals, it will be possible to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to power on the instrument panel. After the instrument panel is powered on, a message indicating that the reset of the light is in progress will appear. When the confirmation message appears, the pedals can be released and the instrument panel can be turned off.
