How to reset the battery sensor of a Ford Mondeo

If the START&STOP system of your Ford Mondeo model mk4 does not work, it may be necessary to reset the battery sensor. To perform the reset, first press the START&STOP button once so as not to start the car engine, then turn on the parking lights using the wheel on the right side of the steering wheel. Immediately after, press the rear fog light button 5 times and then press the emergency light button on the left side of the steering wheel 3 times. After a few seconds, the battery light will start flashing, at which point you should start the car and drive for about 20 consecutive minutes. This way, the reset will have been successfully performed.
