The replacement of the timing belt on the Ford B-Max 1.0 EcoBoost is done by opening the hood, so that access to the components inside the engine compartment can be obtained: the screws fixing the front right wheel and the inner cover of its wheel arch must also be loosened. At this point, access to the tensioner pulley will be obtained, which must be removed from its seat by removing the central nut: this will allow the belt to be removed from its seat, inserting the new replacement part. After the replacement, all removed components can be reassembled, making sure that the engine turns correctly.
