To replace the timing belt on the Ford B-Max 1.0 EcoBoost, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: you will also need to loosen the screws securing the right front wheel and the inner cover of its wheel arch. At this point, you will have access to the tensioner pulley, which must be removed from its housing by taking off the central nut: this will allow the belt to be removed from its housing, enabling you to fit the new replacement part. After replacement, reassemble all removed components, ensuring the engine runs correctly.
