The following steps show how to remove and replace the timing belt on the Ford B-Max 1.0 Ecoboost. First, open the bonnet and start disconnecting all the electrical wiring.

Remove the cylinder head cover by unscrewing all the fastening screws, as shown in the video. At this point, lift the vehicle and remove the timing cover and the crankshaft pulley; take the necessary references for the timing belt replacement.

If necessary, replace the water pump kit, then set the engine timing!
