Replacing the Battery in the Ford C-Max MK2

To replace the flat battery in the Ford C-Max, open the engine bay, remove the engine cover, loosen the clamp on the outlet hose, disconnect the breather hoses, and remove the air filter housing. Remove the battery cover, loosen and disconnect the positive terminal, unclip the plate in front of the battery and move it aside, then unscrew the securing bracket.

Pull the battery forward and loosen and remove the negative terminal. You can now remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the same specifications, reassembling everything in reverse order.
