How to Clean the MAP Sensor on a Geely Mk

Model: Geely Mk MK 1 - Years 2006-2023

To access the MAP sensor for cleaning, open the hood of the vehicle and locate the horizontal bar between the grille and the engine block. Find the screw that holds the sensor, which is located behind the bar. It is in a very awkward position, so work carefully; once removed from its housing, it could easily slip between engine parts, making it difficult to retrieve. Remove it and spray it generously with lubricant or a penetrating oil like WD-40 to remove any oxidation that has built up over time. If necessary, let it soak for a while. Now you can reinstall it.
