Let's see how to activate and deactivate the Eco mode on a GMC Terrain MK1: this is a mode that allows us to improve fuel efficiency by adjusting the throttle response (the engine control unit softens the pedal response); the automatic transmission favors higher gears and the air conditioning optimizes its operation to reduce its load on the engine. Activation is very simple. On the central panel, just below the air conditioning controls, we will find a button with the word ECO. To activate the function, press this button and the green text will appear on the display as confirmation. To deactivate it, simply press the same button again.
