This guide shows how to reset the engine oil status on a 2008 GMC Sierra. The procedure to reset the oil change reminder is very simple and can be done in a few steps. First, secure the vehicle. At this point, turn the ignition to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down five times in a row. After that, wait twenty seconds before completely turning off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on and start the engine to complete the procedure correctly. Repeat the entire procedure if it was not resolved correctly.
