How to Remove the Airbag from the Steering Wheel of a GMC Sierra?

To remove the airbag from the steering wheel of a GMC Sierra, disconnect the battery cables to prevent the airbag from deploying during removal. Once the cables are disconnected, rotate the steering wheel left and right to release the internal retaining clips located at the back of the airbag.

At this point, disconnect the underlying connectors to completely remove the airbag and replace it with a new one; ensure it is properly connected and secured in place, then reconnect the battery cables.
