How to Set the Cruise Control on a Hyundai i10

Here’s how to activate the cruise control (and speed limiter) on a Hyundai i10: drive until you reach a speed above 18.6 mph. Press the "cruise" button located on the steering wheel; a white light will appear on the dashboard. Once you reach the desired speed, press the "set" button. The light will turn green, and the car will maintain that speed without pressing the accelerator. Pressing the +/– buttons will increase or decrease the set speed. To temporarily deactivate, simply press the brake or clutch, and to resume, press the "res" button. To turn off the system, press the "cruise" button again. The speed limiter sets a maximum limit that cannot be exceeded by pressing the accelerator. Press the "limit" button, reach the speed you wish to set, and press "set"; the vehicle will not accelerate beyond the set limit. In an emergency, press the accelerator past the resistance point, and the car will alert you with a beep. To deactivate, press the brake or the "limit" button.
