Removing and Replacing Brake Pads

Model: Hyundai Accent MK 1, LC - Years 1999-2005

This video shows how to remove and replace the front brake pads on your car. First, lift the car with a jack and remove the alloy wheels to access the brake calipers. Retract the caliper piston using a screwdriver between the pad and the disc, then remove the caliper retaining bolts and extract the brake caliper. Finally, simply remove the old brake pads and clean the mounting area before installing the new pads. Once everything is reassembled, pump the brake pedal twice to restore pressure in the system.
