Remove Engine Management ECU

Model: Jaguar Xe MK 1 - Years 2015-2024

Before removing the engine management ECU, it is advisable to disconnect both battery terminals and connect them to discharge all electrolytic capacitors; having done this, locate the ECU behind the strut tower on the passenger side: as the first step, unscrew the fixing screw of the external connector using a small flat screwdriver since it is a special screw that resembles a Torx but is not; then unscrew the external fixing pins to access the cabin, remove the glove compartment, and complete the removal of the ECU by unscrewing the other fixing pins and disconnecting the other connectors.
