Instructions for Removing the Fuse Box Cover

Model: Jaguar Xe MK 1 - Years 2015-2024

A fuse box and relay cover is located in the engine compartment, near the battery. Before proceeding with the removal of the cover, it is recommended to disconnect the battery and remove it from its location along with the casing to provide more working space. Next, unscrew the retaining pin of the cover to detach it from its position and disconnect the underlying connectors. To complete the removal, it is finally necessary to take off the plastic side cover beneath which the power cable terminals, including the earth, are connected: unscrew the fixing nuts of the terminals and pull out the cables.
