Instructions for Removing the Steering Wheel

Model: Jaguar Xe MK 1 - Years 2015-2024

To remove the steering wheel, first disconnect the battery to prevent any warning lights from activating and to avoid accidental deployment of the airbag. Locate the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel and insert a Torx key to unscrew the airbag mounting bolts. Carefully detach the airbag from its housing and disconnect the detonator connectors, as well as those for the steering wheel controls. Proceed to remove the steering wheel's mounting bolt. At this point, you can slide the steering wheel off the steering column.
