In order to remove the steering wheel, it is first necessary to remove the airbag: then start by disconnecting the battery to prevent any warning lights from turning on and accidentally activating the device; intercept the holes behind the steering wheel spokes through which to insert a torx type key to unscrew the airbag fixing pins; then remove the airbag from its seat and disconnect the detonator sockets, also disconnect those of the steering wheel controls and remove the steering wheel fixing pin; at this point it is possible to remove the steering wheel from the steering column.
