How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Jeep Wrangler

Is the EGR valve on your Jeep Wrangler damaged? Here’s how to remove it from the engine bay. Lift the vehicle and secure it, remove the wheel, and detach the plastic wheel arch liner (unscrew the retaining pins with a screwdriver). Remove the retaining bolts of the EGR valve. Once the part is detached from its housing, you can extract it from the wheel arch. Start cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist with the process. Fit the new or refurbished valve, screw in the retaining bolts inside the wheel arch, reattach the wheel arch liner, and refit the wheel. Test the operation.
