Repairing the Window Regulator Motor

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, MK 3, WH - Years 2004-2010
Part: Power window motor

Clear the glove compartment. Unscrew the three screws on the handle using a Torx key size 3. Remove the handle by sliding it off the opening knob. Unscrew the screws securing the pillar cover and remove it. Some screws around the panel are hidden under plastic caps that need to be removed using a non-metallic tool to avoid damaging the panel. Remove the speaker grille and the speaker. Pull the panel to release all the plastic clips. Carefully slide the panel upwards to disengage other clips. Disconnect the speaker wires. Gently peel off the protective film using a blade, trying not to damage the sealing adhesive. You now have access to the window regulator motor and internal components.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
