How the Start & Stop System Works in the Jeep Renegade

In this video, you will see how the start & stop system works in the Jeep Renegade with automatic transmission. By default, the start & stop system is active at every start and can be deactivated, if desired, using the button at the base of the gearbox. The system will not operate immediately but will activate once the engine reaches the correct operating temperature. Each time you stop for more than 3 seconds, the car will automatically turn off (if you have a manual gearbox, this will only happen if the car is in neutral), and it will restart with a simple press of the accelerator. It is advisable to deactivate it when driving in heavy traffic to avoid overloading the starter motor and battery.
