This video shows how to disable the airbag in the Jeep Wrangler TJ, a very simple operation. According to road safety regulations, the passenger side airbag must be disabled whenever a rear-facing child seat is placed in the seat. All you need to do is locate the black cap in front of the gear lever, open it, and insert the key into the ignition. At this point, simply turn the key and set the switch to the desired position. If disabled, you will see the corresponding warning light on the dashboard.
