Oil Change for Jeep Wrangler [UK]

Open the bonnet and unscrew the oil filler cap, position the vehicle on a ramp and lift it up, locate the oil drain plug and, using an Allen key, loosen the nut. Place a container for the used oil on the floor, unscrew the plug completely and wait a few minutes for all the oil to drain out. Next, unscrew the oil filter cartridge with the appropriate tool. Take the O-ring from the new cartridge and lubricate it with a drop of oil. Screw the filter back on by hand and reattach the oil drain plug after cleaning it. Get a funnel and the suitable lubricant and fill from the top cap. Wait a few minutes and check the oil level by pulling out the dipstick, ensuring the level is between the minimum and maximum. Replace the lubricant filler cap and close the engine bay.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
