Disconnect the electrical connectors, such as the one for the passenger airbag light. There are 4 screws holding the original unit in place: unscrew all four, pull out the old radio and disconnect the power cable, antenna, and connectors.

Now connect all the cables to the new unit. The procedure also includes programming the steering wheel controls, teaching the radio the buttons (volume, station change, mute).

Assemble the new custom fascia, which usually includes the air vents and glove compartment. Position the GPS cable, then turn on and configure: connect the Wi-Fi to your phone, set the startup logo to "Kia" and adjust the time zone.
