Lancia Ypsilon - Video tutorial

Model: Lancia Ypsilon Y3, 846, MK 3, Ypsilon 3 - Years 2011-2023
Part: Headlight
Operation: How to replace Lancia Ypsilon headlights

Replacing the headlights of the Lancia Ypsilon is less easy than it seems, because to do it we have to disassemble the front bumper, removing the fixing screws that are on the upper side, those hidden in the wheel arch and three torx that are on the lower side of the front. Unfortunately, if we don't remove the entire bumper, the headlight won't come out, so it won't count to just loosen it, it will really have to be removed completely. The lighthouse itself is fixed by three screws, and you can find the piece on E-bay at the code 300535624357 for 84.00 euros. Once the headlight is free, we remove the electrical connector. Remove the bulbs from the old headlight and put them back on the new one, then plug the connector and do a light test to see if it works. Fix the headlight and then put the bumper back. I realign it first and then we tighten all the bolts.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
