Clean the Throttle Body Without Removing It

If there are carburetion issues with fluctuations in engine RPM, it is necessary to clean the throttle body adjustment system. The first step is to loosen the air hose clamp. Once the hose is removed, you can observe the dirtiness of the throttle body. It is possible to clean the throttle body without needing to disassemble the entire unit, simply by using a special spray. First, clean the entrance of the throttle body using a cloth soaked in the spray, without touching the throttle plate. Start the vehicle, and while the engine is running, spray the cleaner into the intake with small bursts, avoiding over-spraying. Ensure that no foreign objects are drawn in during this operation. If the throttle plate is not touched, no calibration is necessary. Reattach the hose.
