Replacing the Timing Belt on Freelander

How to replace the timing belt on a Freelander? Start by removing the timing belt covers. Lift the bonnet and then raise the vehicle with a suitable jack. Remove the front right wheel and the splash guard. Dismantle the belt cover, unscrew the tensioner roller pin, and slide the belt out of its seat. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the tensioner roller tightening pin, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket spanner. Refit all covers and the front wheel.

How to change the time on a Toyota Yaris
