In this video tutorial, you will see the main instructions useful for removing and replacing the timing belt on the Land Rover Freelander. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the engine mount and the timing cover, disconnecting the alternator belt; then remove the crankshaft pulley by lifting the vehicle, and take off the drive belt (after marking the timing references), as illustrated in the video.

Install the original drive belt, replacing the water pump kit if necessary.
