Operation: How to reset the Lincoln Nautilus oil sight glass

If you have just changed the engine oil and the respective filter in your Lincoln Nautilus but the warning light continues to appear on the instrument panel then you must necessarily perform a manual reset. Let's find out how. First turn on the instrument panel, but don't start the engine as well. Immediately after, locate and press the menu button on the right side of the steering wheel (with two small gears depicted above) and scroll right to enter the "Vehicle" menu. Now select the "Oil life" option and press and hold the "OK" button until the lamp reset is complete.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
