The procedure for resetting the oil light in the Lincoln Mkt is very short, within anyone's reach and, as is the case for all the most recent and technological car models, it does not require the use of a computer connected to the control unit but it can manually by displaying the information on the instrument panel display. With the keypad installed on the left side of the steering wheel we have to navigate through the items in the menu and select the "settings" option using the "ok" button. Then we also select "vehicle" and then "oil life reset". Once here we have to keep the ok button pressed until the light is reset.
