How to Replace the Engine Oil on a Maruti 800

To replace the engine oil and the oil filter on the vehicle, follow these steps: First, open the hood and lift the vehicle. Unscrew the oil fill cap. On this vehicle, you also need to remove the front bumper, and before doing this, you must remove the front turn signals. Locate the oil drain plug at the front and unscrew it, but not before positioning a container to collect the used oil. Find the location of the oil filter and use a socket wrench to remove it. Replace the filter cartridge, reposition it on the cap, and screw it back in. Meanwhile, screw the oil drain plug back in and proceed to refill with new oil from the engine compartment.
