How to replace the key battery in the Mazda CX-5.

Model: Mazda CX-5 MK 2 - Years 2017-2024
Part: Key

On the Mazda CX-5, replacing the remote control battery is quick and does not require coding. With the Mazda CX-5 parked, place the remote on a flat surface. Remove the mechanical key by pressing the unlock button on the edge and pulling out the metal blade. Open the shell by inserting the key blade (or a small screwdriver wrapped in a cloth) into the side slot and gently prying along the perimeter until the two halves separate. Lift the cover of the battery compartment, remove the used battery, and insert the new one with the “+” pole facing as indicated. Close it by aligning the shells and pressing until the clips snap into place; reinsert the mechanical key. Test the buttons (open/close) near the Mazda CX-5 to check if it works. Avoid touching the contacts with your fingers, do not force the clips, and dispose of the used battery at a collection center. If the remote does not respond, double-check the polarity, clean the spring contacts, and try another battery of the correct type.

Installation of Upgraded Intercooler Radiator with Pipes

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge. Remove the inner cover of the bumper and position it near the radiator to identify any interfering parts to eliminate: again, apply a gasket to the edge of the cut. Create brackets for securing the new radiator and proceed with the installation of the connecting pipes from the radiator to the intake, shaping and connecting them appropriately. Finally, reassemble the bumper, headlights, and grille.
