Start & Stop Button Instructions

The video shows how the start & stop button operates to start and stop the engine: it is essential to have the key that acts as a transponder in your pocket. Once seated in the car, with the gear lever in the park position, press the brake pedal and then start the engine by pressing the start button, which lights up a green light; to switch off, the gear lever must always be in the park position, and it is sufficient to press the stop button. If you attempt to start the engine without pressing the brake pedal, the button light is orange. The instrument panel can be activated by holding the start button for a few seconds without pressing the brake pedal. In case of emergency (remote control battery or car battery flat), you can open the car with the mechanical key stored inside the remote: in this case, the control unit may not recognise the transponder on the first start, so bring the key close to the start button.
