Dismantling the Front Bumper

Model: Mazda Rx 8 MK 1 - Years 2003-2012

To dismantle the front bumper, first remove the screws located in the engine bay, just behind the grille. Then unscrew the screw and unlock the clips that hold the wing and bumper together. After unscrewing the screws at the bottom of the bumper, it is possible to remove the bumper, taking care to unlock it without damaging the clips that attach it to the vehicle. During removal, be cautious of the fog lights; they should be disconnected, and to avoid damaging the wing, pull it off evenly, preferably from the centre.
