First of all, it is suggested to carry out this maintenance with a cold engine to avoid unpleasant burns; in order to reach the spark plug seat, it is first necessary to remove the plastic cover on the engine and then remove the air filter which also integrates the radiator of the intercooler: it is therefore necessary to unscrew the fixing pins and disconnect the sleeves from the aspiration; once the spark plugs have been reached, disconnect the socket from the ignition coils and remove the pipette; before unscrewing the spark plugs, blow compressed air into the seat in order to eliminate any residues that could end up in the cylinders and complete the disassembly.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat.
